God’s Most Important Message: How to get to Heaven.

In the Holy Bible, there is a very important message from God for you. Have you heard it?

It says, God loves you very much because He created you, so He wants to give you an amazing gift, which is eternal life. He wants you to get into Heaven when you die.

However, we have a problem! You may be a good person. You do not lie, steal, or kill others. However, no human being is not perfect like God. We should go to hell because of our sins, but nobody wants to go to hell. God does not want you to go to hell, either. He does not want to sit alone in heaven without us. So, God made a way, and only one way, for us to go to heaven.

HOW?

How Did God Make the Way for Us?

According to the Holy Bible, the price of our sin is death, in other words, blood. The price of our sin is huge, because any kind of sin in our hearts and minds disqualifies us before God.

For example, there was a good man who was driving and had a car accident, and unintentionally killed someone. Because of his mistake, somebody died. It would not make sense if the person who caused the accident said, “I am very sorry, please forgive me,” and went home, right? Even in this non-perfect world, he would have to go to jail or pay a huge amount for bail. Similarly, regarding sin it does not make sense for you to say, “Oh God, I am sorry. Please forgive me,” and expect to go to heaven.

That is why from the time of Adam and Eve, there have been sacrifices with animal blood for the forgiveness of sins.

But for a human to go to heaven instead of the eternal jail of hell, animal blood is not enough. The price of sin must be paid with human blood, and not with an imperfect human’s blood! The price of sin must be paid with the blood of a perfect human because heaven is a perfect place where God lives!

Is there anybody perfect who wants to die for you? There is no one perfect at all, except whom? Except God! God is the only one who is perfect! “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)

So What Did God Do for Us?

Your spirit is yours, my spirit is mine, and the Spirit of God is God. The Spirit of God came upon the Virgin Mary, and God became a human being, who was Jesus.

Why Did God Become Human?

God became human because He is the only one able to pay the huge bail for all mankind with His perfect blood. The Holy Bible says God appeared in a human body (1 Tim. 3:16), so He could make the way for us to get to heaven. That is why Jesus who is perfect and without sin died on the cross. That way He could pay our bail with His perfect blood. Also, because Jesus is God, Jesus rose up from the dead after three days, just as He said He would, and just as all the prophets foretold about His death and resurrection.

Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die, and whoever lives by believing in me will never die.”(John 11:25-26)

Jesus is God

Jesus said, “Very truly I tell you, whoever obeys my word will never see death.” When He said this, some Jews said to Him “Now we know that you have a demon! Abraham died as did the prophets. Are you greater than our father Abraham, who died?” Jesus said to them “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.” (John 8:51-59)

“I AM” is a name of God from the Torah (the first half of the Bible, which prophesies about Jesus). (Exodus 3:14)

People wanted to kill Jesus right there, because “I AM” clearly meant that He was God.

Jesus Can Forgive Your Sins

There was a paralyzed man that could not walk, and who had good friends who heard about Jesus. The friends knew that everybody who went to Jesus to be healed, was healed, so these friends brought the paralyzed man to Jesus.

When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralyzed man, “Son, your sins are forgiven.” This means Jesus forgave his sins. When people heard Jesus saying this, they considered this blasphemy, and asked, “Who can forgive sins but God alone?”

Well, Jesus knew what they were thinking and said to them, “I said this so you would know that I have authority to forgive sins.” And then, Jesus said to the paralyzed man “Get up and go home,” and the man got up and went home praising God. (Luke 5:1-11, Mark 2:1-12)

Jesus showed us clearly that He can forgive your sins if you come to Him, because He is more than a prophet. Jesus is God, and He wants to give you eternal life in heaven, not eternal suffering in hell.

What Does the Son of God Mean?

The angel Gabriel came to the Virgin Mary and said to her.

“You will have a baby, and His name will be Jesus. He will be the Holy One, and He will be called the Son of God.” (Luke 1:35)

The Son of God is one of many names of Jesus. The Son of God does not at all mean that God married and gave birth to a son! For example, there is an Arabic expression, “You are a son of man!” This means you are a real man. Here, ‘Son’ is a metaphor, not a result of a marriage.

“Jesus is the Son of God” means Jesus is the one true, real God.

Who is the Messiah?

When Jesus was born, an angel appeared to people and announced, “A Savior is born. He is the Lord Messiah.” Messiah is translated into English as Christ. (Luke 2:11)

“Jesus is the Messiah” means He is the king. But the king of what?

The Jews brought Jesus to Pilate, a Roman governor, to crucify him, because Jesus kept saying that he was the Messiah, the Son of God. The governor asked Jesus, “Are you a king?” Jesus said, “Yes, but my kingdom is not of this world.” So then, where is His kingdom? From above.

Jesus Christ, the Messiah, means He is the King of the universe. (John 18:36-38)

God is One and He is Jesus

In the Torah(Old Testament), God describes Himself as follows:

“I am the Beginning and the End, I am the First and the Last, besides Me there is no god.” (Deuteronomy 6:4, Isaiah 44:6)

Jesus said, “I am the First and the Last and the Living One. And I was dead, and behold, I am alive for evermore. Amen. And I have the keys of hell and of death.” (Rev 1:17-18)

Jesus said, “It is done!” This means the price of sin for humankind was paid fully: “I am the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give from the spring of the water of life freely. He that overcomes shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.” (Revelation 21:6-7)

The Holy Bible

The Holy Bible is breathed out by God. (2 Tim. 3:16)

Also it is written:

“If anyone adds to the words of the prophecy of this book and if anyone takes away from them, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city,” which is heaven. (Revelation 22:19)

There are more than 15,000 manuscripts of the Holy Bible and some of them are more than 2000 years old. They all correspond to each other, proving there have been no changes, and that the Holy Bible is not corrupted. The Holy Bible is the true word of God, and there is no other.

Jesus is the Only Way

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. All things were made through him, and without him was not anything made that was made.” (John 1:1-2) The Word is Jesus.

Jesus is the true light that came to the world. The world was made through him, yet the world did not know him. He came to his own world, and his own people did not receive him. But all who receive Jesus and believe in his name become children of God. The Word became flesh so He would be able to pay the bail for you so you do not have to go to hell but instead become his child. (John 1:14)

“Jesus” means that He saves His people from their sins. (Matt. 1:21)

The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ the Messiah, Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23)

Jesus says, “I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come into him and eat with him, and he with me.” (Revelation 3:20)

Jesus said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life.” He explained that nobody can come to heaven except through him. (John 14:6)

When you accept Jesus and believe in Jesus as your God and obey His word, the Holy Book, and walk with Him, He will lead you to heaven.

Prayer to Accept Jesus

O Lord Jesus! Thank you so much for this amazing news! Thank you for coming from heaven and dying on the cross for my sins. Jesus, I believe that you paid the price of my sin on the cross, and rose up from the dead in three days, because you are God. I am a sinner, please forgive my sins. I open myself to you. Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ, come into my life. Be my King and Lord. Help me to walk and talk with you, and hear your voice daily. Let me grow in your words and presence. Lead me in your ways everyday, and lead me in your word, the Holy Book, so your good and perfect will for my life will be fulfilled. I pray all this in Jesus’ name. Amen.
